Homestay accommodation fees

The prices listed are for reference only; only the personalized, named quote is binding.

The cost of homestay accommodation includes water, electricity, and heating, Wi-Fi access, one laundry load per week, access to the family’s living areas (dining room, living room, etc.), and assistance from the association in case of any issues with the family.

Cancellation of the trip

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email) to the Actif association. To ensure the proper organization of homestays and the commitment of host families, fees may be retained depending on the date of cancellation.

1.  If canceled more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, all payments will be refunded, except for the administrative fee.
2.  Between 30 and 15 days before arrival, 50% of the stay may be retained, plus the administrative fee.
3.  In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before arrival, or in the event of early departure after the start of the stay, the amounts paid remain due and will not be refunded except in duly justified exceptional circumstances (visa denial, serious medical issue, force majeure).
   
       Any special circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the association in order to find a balanced solution for the student, the host family, and the Actif association.
